Collection: Micromanipulation Tools
Micromanipulation tools are thin pipettes used under the microscope to perform certain techniques to individual eggs, sperm, or embryos to improve fertilization and/or pregnancy rates. ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) is a microinjection technique where a sperm cell is injected into an egg (oocyte) using a very thin needle. Various other micromanipulation tools are used for other micromanipulation methods - such as PZD Pipettes for zona dissection and Biopsy pipettes for the removal of a blastomere cell, trophectoderm cells or polar body for preimplantation genetic testing.
